Algo Personal con Jorge Ramos premieres Sunday, April 24 at 10:00pm and will be available in the US and most of Spanish-speaking Latin America.
TelevisaUnivision’s ViX announced the premiere of Algo Personal con Jorge Ramos (Something Personal with Jorge Ramos), a new celebrity interview program hosted by Emmy award-winning journalist and bestselling author Jorge Ramos.
As part of Noticias Univision 24/7 news streaming channel, Algo Personal con Jorge Ramos will premiere exclusively on ViX this Sunday, April 24 at 10 p.m. ET and will be available on-demand in the U.S. and most Spanish-speaking Latin America, excluding Mexico. The show, which will allow viewers to see a different, more personal side of the prestigious news anchor, is Jorge Ramos’s first-ever streaming program.
Algo Personal con Jorge Ramos features in-depth interviews with the world’s best-known Spanish-speaking celebrities and note-worthy personalities in a series of conversations like we’ve never seen before. He dives into the lives of these fascinating characters, who share their most private and personal sides – from their successes and regrets to hopes and fears, and even their best-kept secrets.

After spending most of my career talking to presidents and politicians, this is a great opportunity to talk, unhurried, with writers and artists about their innermost motivations. The show’s first guest is the celebrated actor, comedian and filmmaker Eugenio Derbez, who starred in this year’s Academy Award-winning film CODA. The first season also presents intimate conversations with renowned international personalities including Alejandro Sanz, Carlos Vives, Isabel Allende, Javier Chicharito Hernández, Joan Manuel Serrat, Mario Vargas Llosa, and Sebastián Yatra, and the musical group Maná.

ViX offers two tiers of service, including a free advertising-supported product (AVOD) recently launched in the U.S., Mexico and most Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, with more than 100 channels and more than 40,000 hours of video-on-demand content. ViX+, the service’s SVOD tier set to launch in the second half of 2022, will offer subscribers access to more premium content in Spanish than with any other service, with 10,000 hours of exclusive content and more than 50 original series and films in the first year.
