TelevisaUnivision announced the appointment of Pierluigi Gazzolo as the new CEO of the platform, while Rodrigo Mazón becomes Chief Content Officer.
Present at Content Americas, TelevisaUnivision announced two key appointments for its streaming platform, ViX, according to cveintiuno.
Firstl, Pierluigi Gazzolo was promoted from his position as Chief Transformation Officer to CEO of Vix.
In addition, Rodrigo Mazón became Chief Content Officer of the platform, leaving his position as VP and director of SVOD at TelevisaUnivision.
Both executives are present at Content Americas in Miami to offer a keynote on the future of TelevisaUnivision’s SVOD business.
Gazzolo joined TelevisaUnivision in early 2021, after serving as president of VIMN Americas, OTT Internacional, and Viacom International Studios.
Mazón, meanwhile, also joined the company in 2021, after serving as VP of Netflix Content for Latin America. Before joining Netflix in 2015, Mazón was Hulu’s Director of Acquisitions.
