Last year, The Ripple Effect was launched on the international market as a new global agency for the audiovisual industry, created by the former Armoza Formats International Sales and Distribution team: Adva Avichzer as director, along with Elizaveta Makarova and Viviana Hadid.
“We are three people who really want to work,” Viviana Hadid, VP of Sales at The Ripple Effect, said to ttvnews at the current edition of Content Americas in Miami.
The boutique agency was launched to connect talented local creators and producers with global opportunities in production, financing and distribution.
“We want to break the established rules and try to play, to unite creators with producers and broadcasters, to start breaking the mold and see how we can all work together to really get projects going,” the executive summarized.
“The three of us have experience, contacts and a great desire to make things happen, and really create content that contributes something to humanity,” she added, explaining that this content can have any format, as long as “in the end it leaves behind a good feeling, a lesson or a reflection.”
“Every place in the world is special and even if we have different languages and cultures, we are all human with the same feelings and daily struggles. It is a good opportunity to start opening up the world and show what each place has to offer,” she explained.
Thus, the search for partners is also very broad for The Ripple Effect, who does not set limits when it comes to building bridges. “Anyone who wants to work, has a good idea or the creativity necessary to bring that idea to TV, is who we are looking for,” explained the executive.
“A creator who hasn’t had the opportunity and a production company that is maybe looking for that amazing story and hasn’t seen it yet. It could be a small player, the biggest production company, a big creator or someone unknown who is just starting out…”, she added.
The agency already works in collaboration with partners such as Zoa Films, Eight Productions (Night Therapy, Exceptional), Beyond Creative and HSCC; as well as acclaimed creators such as Noah Stollman (Fauda, Our Boys), Izhar Harlev (Your Honor, Valley of Tears, The Gordin Cell), Ariana Saiegh (Divan Family) and Uzi Weil (In Treatment), among others.
