TV Time revealed to ttvnews the Top 10 most viewed series of 2020 on Netflix globally. The presence of two Spanish series stands out.
Days ago, Netflix revealed some of the audience figures that 2020 left on its platform, as the most watched in the US and in some individual territories.
And now TV Time shared with ttvnews its global measurements for the OTT, a figure that comes from the more than 16 million users who use the app to record everything they see.
TV Time thus has more than 18,000 million episodes marked as seen on its website and more than 250,000 TV shows and movies monitored.
From this immense amount of “Big Data”, the company serves as a window into the viewing figures in the OTT world at a global level.
Thus, TV Time highlighted that, according to what its users saw, the most popular Netflix series in 2020 globally was the American Lucifer. Behind were Money Heist and Sex Education on the podium.
A second Spanish series stood out in the Top 10: Elite, which was the fourth most watched series on Netflix globally in 2020.
Short of making it into the Top 10 was Cable Girls, which ranked 11th.
