10 professionals put their skills and creativity to the test in a unique contest that will crown the best cocktail maker in Portugal. Mistura Beirão premieres on TVI this weekend.

Banijay Entertainment confirms that the competition format Mistura Beirão, created in partnership with Portuguese liqueur Licor Beirão and TVI, will premiere on Saturday, June 15. The new entertainment series is financed by the Shine Iberia Portugal brand (part of Banijay Iberia).

10 professionals put their skills and creativity to the test in a unique competition that will crown Portugal’s best bartender and offer him or her the opportunity to attend the renowned European Bartender School in New York.

Mistura Beirão, presented by Maria Cerqueira Gomes and Rui Simões and judged by beverage expert Jaime Montgomery, aims to discover the best bartender in Portugal.

Macarena Rey, CEO of Shine Iberia, says, “We have solid experience producing premium talent/contest formats in Portugal, with programs such as MasterChef, and in creating premium branded entertainment, such as Hairstyle: The Talent Show with Alfaparf Milano Professional.

According to the executive, Mistura Beirão is a fun and fresh take on the genre. “The addition of Licor Beirão, in partnership with TVI, has allowed us to explore a new field of experience with some extremely gifted and creative contestants,” Rey assured.
