According to local reports, the public network commissioned Shine Iberia with a new version of the format, in which two teams of celebrities compete to see how much they love their country.
RTVE continues to bet on entertainment formats with Shine Iberia, its go-to producer in the genre.
With shows like MasterChef, Maestros de la costura and Podigios currently airing new seasons on La 1, the group is now preparing the adaptation of Talpa’s original format, I Love My Country.
According to Bluper, the public network commissioned Shine Iberia with a new edition of the show (which aired in 2012 under the title ¿Conoces España?) for prime time.
In the show, two teams of celebrities test out how much they know and love their country. Through Q&As, they go through topics like geography, traditions, events, sports, history, popular characters, cooking, TV and literature.
Premiered for the first time in Holland in 2008, I Love My Country has been adapted 34 times.
