The Talpa format will be locally titled Typical Spanish and be produced by Shine Iberia.
This week, TVE announced it will premiere the new game show Typical Spanish, its local adaptation of Talpa’s format I Love My Country, “very soon”.
Hosted by Frank Blanco, the show presents two celebrity teams led by Florentino Fernández and Vicky Martín Berrocal.
Santiago Segura, Carlos Latre, Massiel, Edu Soto, Kira Miró, Los Chunguitos and Fernando Tejero are some of the first celebrity guests confirmed.
Produced by RTVE and Shine Iberia, Typical Spanish combines music, games, trivia, fun and improv, and many celebrities trying to prove they know Spain the most.
I Love My Country has been produced in multiple territories, including Portugal (RTP1), Germany (Sat 1), UK (BBC One), France (TF1), Italy (Rai 2), Serbia (RTS), Croatia (HRT), Denmark (DR1), Saudi Arabia (SBC) and China (Sichuan and Hubei).
It first aired in Holland in 2005 and has already been on air for more than 12 years on RTL4.
