The hit Turkish drama One Love, distributed by Global Agency, is coming to TVN’s screens in Chile starting January 1st, after the main news. The new deal marks another step in the global expansion of the hit drama, which has already been acquired in Puerto Rico, Panama, and Honduras.
One Love is a TV series that airs on Show TV every Friday night. Gold Film, one of Turkey’s leading production companies, produces the series. Gold Film has a proven track record with previous series such as Daydreamer, Iffet, Dila, and Never Let Go.
Izzet Pinto, founder and CEO of Global Agency, commented that the drama has now entered Latin America with Chile. “We think it will be very successful in Chile. They will like it a lot because many elements in the series appeal to Latinos. The drama shows the conflicts of two families, the cultural differences, and the efforts to adapt. It deals openly and bravely with a topic never explored in Turkey,” he said.
The captivating story is Turkey’s most talked about series in the last two seasons. It is represented by a stellar cast consisting of Barış Kılıç, Evrim Alasya, Sıla Turkoglu, and Dogukan Gungor.
One Love tells the captivating story of idealistic Doga, who falls madly in love in college with the charming Fatih, a man from a devout family whose values clash with her mother’s, creating a touching drama as they try to overcome their differences. Doga’s life plans are turned upside down, and her mother is shaken when she refuses to have an abortion and marries him.
