Ahead of Mipcom 2021, Patricio Hernández, General Manager, Latina Televisión in Peru, spoke to TTV+ about the content he’s looking for in the international market.
TTVMedia, through its TTV+ platform and backed by Eccho Rights, presents its Buyers: What Are They Looking For? initiative to find out more about international buyers’ programming needs.
The interviews were conducted through the base of over 5,000 buyers registered on TTV+, a 24/7 online marketplace where buyers can look through catalogs from thousands of companies, and in which distributors can contact them to close businesses.
This time, we present Patricio Hernández, General Manager, Latina Televisión, Peru.
Which type of content are you looking for?
From Latina’s perspective, we are always looking for family content, which integrates co-viewing for all members of the different targets in the family. That is our concept, which obviously creates, unlike other platform consumption, the standout feature of broadcast TV. Content that everyone can watch, in front of the screen, and content that instead of separating the viewing, generates an integrated viewing, which obviously becomes a good opportunity for advertisers as well.
Which genres are you looking for?
From that perspective, we continue to look for fiction content, with a family setting, as well as big shows.
