The dubbing company is interested in forming new agreements to exchange dubbing services for non-exclusive rights on YouTube.

In an industry context where the rise of artificial intelligence is already being felt, dubbing companies are being forced to reinvent themselves. Tomás Silva, CEO of Dinter, told ttvnews that they are seeking new partnerships with producers and distributors during Content Americas.

“In this market, we are looking to form partnerships with new producers and distributors to exchange dubbing services for non-exclusive rights on YouTube,” said Dinter’s CEO.

Regarding AI-driven dubbing, Silva stated, “It will eventually surpass actor-driven dubbing. It’s a matter of cost and time. So, we need to reinvent ourselves, leveraging AI to speed up dubbing processes, translations, secondary roles, soundtracks, and similar tasks while keeping human voices for now—at least until AI takes over 100% of the market,” he explained.

Silva affirmed that they continue to offer dubbing in neutral Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and American English. “At Mipcom, we announced our first Italian-language films, which will likely also be dubbed into French. Additionally, we are working on dubbing a French-language film for theatrical release,” the executive concluded.
