This June the original biopic series Cris Miró (Ella) will premiere, telling the story of Cris Miró, the first Argentine trans woman to become a star at the Maipo Theater in the 90’s, something that, at that time, was only possible for cis gender women.

The series produced and developed by EO Media and Nativa Contenidos, will have eight episodes and will take a look at the life and career of Cris Miró until the moment when a stigmatizing diagnosis about her health changes her plans.

This story, based on the novel Hembra, Cris Miró – Vivir y morir en un país de machos by Carlos Sanzol, will come to recognize and highlight her mark as one of the most important trans women for this group, who revolutionized the era and also achieved promote a fight that is still valid today.

It is directed by Martín Vatenberg and Javier Van de Couter, and stars Mina Serrano in the role of Cris Miró and will feature the performances of Katja Alemann, César Bordón, Agustín «Soy Rada» Aristarán, Vico D’Alessandro, Marcos Montes, Toto Rovito, Manu Fanego, Campi and Adabel Guerrero, among others.
