Ana Barreto and Juan Aura from TIS, the Paramount production company, spoke with ttvnews about their projects currently in development and the upcoming releases for this 2023.
“It’s a really great industry reunion,” said Ana Barreto of The Independent Studios at Content Americas.
“It has been interesting to see what the changes have been in all the companies. Being able to tell our clients and colleagues about the situation of our company, which is super positive after the transition, now with our new partner Paramount, with the independence that characterizes us” , highlighted the executive.
The production company arrives on the market after the change that came with the purchase by Paramount and the merger, and it arrives ready to present all its news to the market.
“We want to show everyone what we are doing, with many premieres ready and the materialization of the projects in which we have worked,” added Juan Aura. “We want to show the growth we have had in Mexico and Colombia from the two offices.”
Currently, TIS is producing several projects, such as the filming of the fourth season of El capo, which is being carried out jointly between Colombia and Mexico.
“In addition, we are very focused on Colombia with reality shows, with one in production in Cartagena that comes with important challenges. And in Bogotá we are making an adaptation to one of our studios. It will be perfect for the production of a very important reality show that will begin in February for an American company,” revealed Barreto.
As for premieres, “we are about to launch Primetime on Star+ and The Bass Club for Disney+,” announced Aura.
“This will be a year of a lot of work and challenges, but the relationship with clients has never stopped, the effort to carry out projects remains firm,” they concluded.
