The Amazon, Onza Entertainment and Atresmedia Studios series will have a third season, as announced by the local press.
Released in December 2018 in Spain and Latin America as the first Spanish Amazon Exclusive, the comedy Pequeñas coincidencias continues to grow, with an adaptation in the US on the way and, now, a renewal for a third season.
The news was revealed this Thursday by Spanish media platform Bluper, which revealed that Amazon has already ordered a new season of the series.
Created by Javier Veiga, Pequeñas coincidencias is a production of Onza Entertainment, Atresmedia Studios and MedioLimón. It is distributed by Onza.
In addition to Amazon, it has aired in Spain through Antena 3.
It stars Javier Veiga along with Marta Hazas, Juan Ibáñez, Mariano Peña, Alicia Rubio, Unax Ugalde, Xosé Touriñan, Tomás Pozzi and Alosian Vivancos along with Lucía Balas, Álvaro Balas, José Troncoso, Marta Castellote and Juan López-Tagle .
The script team, led by Veiga, is made up of Cristina Pons, Gerald, Fillmore and Antonio Muñoz de Mesa, in addition to the collaborations of Abraham Sastre and Alberto López.
The production team is also made up of Víctor Tejedor (director of Photography), Laura Oliva (director of Production), Juan Carlos Bilbao (director of Art), Nazaret Colomina (figurine artist) and Jani Madrileño (editor).
In the US, NBC gave the green light to a pilot for the local adaptation of the series, which will be called Someone Out There and will star Ryan Hansen and Aimee Carrero.
The pilot is produced by Universal Studios. Matt Hubbard is listed as the creator of the series, and Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan are added as screenwriters.
Veiga is also an executive producer on Someone Out There, as are Dylan Morgan, Emiliano Calemzuk and Gonzalo Sagardía.
