Disney+ subscribers will be able to access the company’s family, general entertainment and sports content, including ESPN, all on one platform.
The Walt Disney Company Latin America announced that Star+ content will be integrated into Disney+ in the second quarter of calendar year 2024, to offer its subscribers a single streaming experience that will give access to the Company’s content for all its audiences.
“This integration will allow the unmatched power of our content to be available in a single app, providing an improved and surpassing experience, and simplified access to subscribers, on whom we always put the focus,” commented Diego Lerner, President The Walt Disney Company Latin America.
On Disney+, subscribers will be able to find the company’s general entertainment offering (including Searchlight, 20th Century Studios and FX titles), live events and the offering of ESPN, the most respected and recognized brand for sports fans in the region; in addition to series, films and documentaries from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, and original productions created entirely in Latin America.
Additional details, including pricing for the new integrated offering, will be announced at a later date.
