ViX announced today that its successful original series, LaLola, will premiere its second season on November 8. All episodes will be available on the service’s premium plan on the day of the premiere.
The comedy stars Bárbara de Regil (Pacto de Sangre, Cabo, MexZombies), Alejandro de la Madrid (La rebelión, Enfermo amor, Monarca), Alexis Ayala (Amar a muerte, Vencer la ausencia, Si nos dejan), Gonzalo García Vivanco (La desalmada, Cuna de lobos) and Cynthia Klitbo (Juego de mentiras, Mujer de nadie, El privilegio de amar).
As season 2 begins, Lola faces the surprising revelation from season 1: she is pregnant and seeks to discover how it all happened. In the search for true love, a crucial step to break Circes spell, she falls into romantic entanglements and desperately tries to become a man again, even if only for 24 hours. Lola kisses a thousand frogs, unaware that her true love might be right in front of her. With the upcoming eclipse approaching, she consults Alexa about what love is, but it is Gastón who confesses his feelings for her. Now, with only a week left, the stakes have never been higher, setting the stage for a season full of romance and self-discovery.
