As in most Latin American countries, the Star Wars’ series new season on Disney+ ranked first in Parrot Analytics’ ranking of most demanded series in Colombia.

Just one month after its launch in Latin America, Disney+ is steadily catching the attention of viewers in the region, making its way into the rankings of the most popular series in different countries.

In the week of December 7 to 13, the new season of the platform’s Star Wars series ranked first in the Parrot Analytics ranking of most demanded series in Colombia, both digital and general, with 23.2 times more demand than the average series.

Disney+ series, in addition, occupied three places in the digital ranking for the country, where its companion in the saga, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, ranked in tenth place (4.5x) and the Marvel series, WandaVision, ranked sixth (6.7x).

Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys (third place, 9.9x) and HBO Max’s Titans (seventh, 6.1x) round out the non-Netflix series on the list.

The rest of the positions are all occupied by Netflix series, with Stranger Things (9.9x) in second place, The Crown (9.0x) and Narcos (7.8x) in fourth and fifth place, respectively; and The Umbrella Academy (6.1x) and Cobra Kai (5.9x) in eighth and ninth place, respectively.

Also led by The Mandalorian, the general ranking is dominated mostly by children’s productions, which follow the Star Wars series occupying the next seven positions.

The ranking goes as follows: PAW Patrol (16.6x) in second place, Peppa Pig (16.0x) in third, The Simpsons (15.6x) in fourth, SpongeBob (15.3x) in fifth, Naruto (15.3x) in sixth, Attack on Titan in seventh (15.2x) and El Clown Plim Plim (14.4x) in eighth.

The last two places are occupied by the classic telenovela Ugly Betty in ninth place with 13 times more demand and the talent format Tu Voz Estéreo in last place with 12.9 times more demand.
