The Filmarket Hub platform presents its first US Hispanic Showcase, a two-day virtual pitch event dedicated to feature films and scripted series in development for the US Hispanic market.
This brand new initiative aims to discover emerging LatinX talents with high-quality stories targeted to US Hispanic audiences, and connect them with top tier companies in the industry. Executives from BTF Media, El Estudio, Exile Content Studio, Gaumont, Pantaya and The Mediapro Studio are confirmed to attend.
7 feature films and 7 scripted series will be selected by Filmarket Hub to participate at the event, which will take place online in June. Representatives from the selected projects will have the opportunity to pitch and meet each of the participating executives in 1to1 meetings.
In addition, all the selected projects will get an invitation to join the Filmarket Hub online marketplace and be featured in the Filmarket Project Selections. They will also be recommended in a mail out to Filmarket Hub’s international database of Film & TV companies.
The pitch is open to non-represented and represented writers wanting to present their scripts to producers and executives in the industry; and production companies looking for co-producers, financing or distribution for their unproduced projects.
The call will remain open until April 20 and the selected projects will be announced on May 10. The showcase for films will take place on June 2 and the showcase for series on June 3.
