The heartwarming finale of Univision’s blockbuster 8 p.m. drama series Te Doy La Vida (I Give You Life) reached 3 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned-in to all or part of the one-hour telecast.
Starring José Ron, Jorge Salinas and Eva Cedeño, the one-hour finale of Te Doy La Vida averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 788,000 Adults 18-49 and 326,000 Adults 18-34, making Univision the No. 1 network among Adults 18-34 and No. 2 ahead of ABC, CBS, FOX, and all cable networks among Adults 18-49 in the 8 p.m. hour.
Featuring a storyline centered on unconditional love and the bond between a father and son, the finale ranked among the top five most-watched programs on all of television in primetime with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
The performance also drove Univision ahead of ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX for the entire night among Adults 18-34, while also topping ABC, CBS and FOX with Adults 18-49.
Te Doy La Vida positioned Univision as the No. 1 Spanish-language network in the 8 p.m. hour with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+93 percent advantage), Adults 18-49 (+95 percent advantage) and Adults 18-34 (+85 percent advantage), while also propelling Univision to the top spot on Spanish-language television for the entire night with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo across all three key demos.
During its full-run, the telenovela averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 681,000 Adults 18-49 and 313,000 Adults 18-34, making Univision the most-watched network on all of television in the weeknight 8 p.m. hour among Adults 18-34.
