Produced by Channel 4 of Uruguay, ¿Quién caerá? will premiere on January 8, 2024 on UniMás.
Last November, Uruguay’s Channel 4 announced that it would be the production house for the new format ¿Quién caerá? for TelevisaUnivision.
It is the adaptation of Still Standing, which was created by July-August Productions and is distributed by Armoza Formats & ITV Studios in more than 20 territories.
And this Wednesday, TelevisaUnivision announced the premiere date of its new bet, which will hit the UniMás screen on January 8.
¿Quién caerá? will be hosted by Adamari López, one of the most prominent figures in Hispanic television, with contestants from all over the United States who represent different origins and facets of the country’s Hispanic culture.
The studio-based game show is Israel’s most successful format with more than 7,000 episodes in more than 40 territories, including Spain, Brazil, France, Hungary, Italy, Thailand, Turkey and China.
In Uruguay, the format has already aired two seasons on Channel 4 under the title Ahora caigo, as well as in Argentina, where it premiered last June, with production by BoxFish.
Created by Israel’s Channel 10 and July-August Productions, Still Standing (60′) is the innovative game show that offers contestants the chance to win $1 million by besting 10 opponents in 10 dramatic, fast-paced trivia battles. As the clock runs down, contestants fight to be the last one standing, because if they’re left struggling to find the answer, they’ll literally be eliminated from the game, right onto the studio floor!
