The new Spanish-language dating format, produced by Acun Medya, will premiere on the Hispanic network on Wednesday, November 17.

Telemundo continues to shake up the competitive Spanish-language reality genre with Por Amor o Por Dinero (For Love or For Money), a sizzling take on the popular dating game format, premiering Wednesday, November 17 at 7 PM/6C.

Hosted by renowned international personality Carlos Ponce, the reality competition features 16 contestants, eight single men and eight single women living together in an isolated tropical paradise. Here they will find love, games, and money as the leading protagonists of their sure-to-be surprising journey.

Some contestants may arrive looking for true love, but others are in the mix strictly to have fun while strategizing to win a combined total of $200,000 cash prize for the winning couple, $100,000 each.

“Por Amor o Por Dinero is a daring and innovative programming proposal for our viewers to enjoy as they watch the contestants seeking to find real love in paradise,” said Ronald Day, President, Entertainment and Content, Telemundo.

Filled with adrenaline and surprises in every two-hour weeknight episode, viewers will watch Por Amor o Por Dinero contestants pair up to compete in a series of mental and physical challenges. Every night, a winning couple will win a reward they can share with two other contestants of their choice, and every Friday, a contestant will receive a nomination to leave the Oasis. As viewers closely follow these single men and women, contestants will have the opportunity to choose their ideal mate to make it to the finale until the winning couple, selected by the audience vote, takes home the $200,000 cash prize.

Carlos Ponce has achieved international recognition as a leading film, television, and music artist, becoming one of the most esteemed Hispanic personalities in media today. The Puerto Rican-born Ponce has starred in several hit Telemundo productions, including La Suerte de Loli, La Doña, La Fan, and Santa Diabla as well as hosted several editions of Miss Universe and the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Ponce’s credits include memorable roles on popular television series, including Beverly Hills 90210, Hollywood Heights, Telenovela, Devious Maids, and feature films Just My Luck, Chasing Papi, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, and Couples Retreat, among others.

Por Amor o Por Dinero, produced by Acun Medya for Telemundo, is under the executive production of Francisco “Cisco” Suárez, Telemundo’s Executive Vice President of Primetime Non-Scripted Programming, and Luciano Cardinali serving as the executive producer of the reality competition.

Audiences will be able to enjoy episodes of Por Amor o Por Dinero live or catch-up on the Telemundo app, available to download on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. New episodes will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
