The new reality show Así se baila will premiere on Sunday, September 12 on the Hispanic network.
Telemundo announced that its new original format Así se baila will premiere on Sunday, September 12 at 8:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m. Central).
Along with the launch date, the Hispanic network also revealed the luxury panel of judges and the first five celebrity couples that will compete in the dance contest.
Adamari López, Cristian de la Fuente and Mariana Seoane join as judges to evaluate the presentations of the celebrity couples every Sunday and decide who goes to the next round of the competition.
Each two-hour episode will feature the best of Latin music and dance as couples compete to win the audience’s vote in hopes of winning.
The first couples to confirm their participation are: Laura Flores and Gabriel Porras, Lorenzo Méndez and Jessica Díaz, Gregorio Pernía and Luna Pernía, David Chocarro and Carolina Laursen, and Samadhi Zendejas and Adriano Zendejas.
Así Se Baila is an original Telemundo dance competition that will feature 10 celebrities taking on the dance floor with a partner of their choice, including spouses, children, partners, siblings, and best friends. Each pair performs to unique Latin music genres and exciting choreographies, taking center stage every Sunday night in a dance challenge unlike any other, striving to remain in the competition for another round. Viewers will be able to witness all the emotion and excitement every week as the couples overcome challenges, learn their routines, and prepare to be the best dancers on the floor. Each Sunday night, a panel of celebrity judges will evaluate their performances and decide who moves on. The audience reserves the final word, voting on which talented pair will ultimately declare: Así Se Baila! (That’s How You Dance!).
Shot entirely in a specially designed state-of-the-art studio at Telemundo Center in Miami, Así Se Baila is an original Telemundo production under the executive production of Francisco “Cisco” Suarez, Executive Vice President of Primetime Non-Scripted Programming for Telemundo, and Macarena Moreno as executive producer.
Audiences will be able to enjoy episodes of Así Se Baila live or catch-up on the Telemundo app, available to download on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. New episodes will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
