Locally titled Huerfanas, ATV’s Turkish drama will return for a second and third season on the Argentine network.
After a successful first season, Telefe announced that Orphan Flowers, ATV’s Turkish drama, will return to its screen with a second and third season.
On air in Argentina as Huérfanas, the drama premiered this year on the Viacom network.
Originally titled Kırgın Çiçekler, the series premiered in Turkey on ATV in 2015 and had a second season that ended in June 2017, with a third that ended on March of this year.
It’s produced by NTC Medya.
It tells the story of Eylül, a young woman who’s sent by her mother to an orphanage to get away from her abusive stepfather. She will make friends at the orphanage located in a luxury neighborhood.
The girls, excluded from society, are humiliated and defamed by the rich boys of the area. None of the public schools accept them due to this defamation, so they end up in this private and luxurious school.
Now life will be more difficult for Eylül and her three friends among the rich and spoiled boys in their new school.
It stars İpek Karapınar, Özgür Çevik and Biran Damla Yılmaz, among others.
In addition to Argentina, the drama was sold to several territories in Latin America, including Chile (Channel 13), Peru (Latina), Uruguay (Channel 10) and Paraguay (Telefuturo).
