UK-based factual distributor BossaNova is present in Natpe Budapest with a vast slate of new titles, covering a wide range of genres within the non-scripted category.

“We are a factual distributor and we are here presenting our factual slate, with new brand new titles from different subgenres of factual such as history, ancient civilization, true crime, tough jobs, blue chip and more”, said Tatiana Grinkevich, Head of Sales de Bossanova.

The distributor is presenting three big new titles at the event. First is Ancient Egypt by Train, with Alice Roberts, a Channel 4 commission. This four-part series starts at the very end of the Ancient Egyptian empire in Alexandria, where the Romans came to take control, and travels back in time, heading south, to Cairo, Luxor and Aswan.

Then there’s The Cannibal Next Door, the Armin Meiwes story, a Channel 5 commission. This is the shocking story behind one of the world’s most notorious cannibals, told by those closest to the case who reveal how the killer and the victim’s lives led to their fatal night together.

And lastly is The Rise and Fall of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy, which unveils the dark history behind the Playboy mansion, and the disturbing realities of the bunnies; deaths, rapes, overdoses, prostitution, child pornography, suicide, and drugs, all of which have surrounded the entity that is Playboy.
