The widely acclaimed board game “Les Loups-Garous De Thiercelieux” (edited by Asmodee) has sold 7 million units worldwide.
In France the remarkable game of Werewolves was filmed in a French forest and a village specially created for the series. 13 players, all experts in strategy and deception, dive into this immersive experience where they are pushed to their limits. To win the game teamwork and social intelligence will all be put to the test with cunning gameplay a must.
For 13 days, in a remote village deep in the forest, 13 players face off in a life-sized game of Werewolves. Though they all claim to be Villagers, 3 are secretly Werewolves. The villagers must rely on deduction to expose hidden threats.
Every other night, the Werewolves secretly choose a victim, while during the day, villagers vote to eliminate someone, hoping to uncover the truth.
Anne Chérel, Chief Commercial Officer, and Pauline Saint-Hilaire, Head of International Library Sales for Films & TV Series, of Studiocanal comment: “We are extremely excited to continue our strategic development around entertainment formats and distribution with such an ambitious and riveting series of premium quality and addictive nature. We are convinced that Werewolves will captivate the widest possible audiences worldwide.”
