The international series festival in Cannes shared details about its fourth edition and the titles selected in its different sections.
Canneseries will return to the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from October 8 to 13, 2021. Ahead of the event, this Tuesday the 21st the festival held a press conference to share new details.
For six days, the international public will be able to enjoy 10 long series, 10 short series, 4 out-of-competition series and many events at Espace Miramar and online.
The selection is defined as “accessible and challenging”, from “exclusive series and popular series”.
Among the 10 series chosen for the Official Competition, the Argentine series Limbo stands out, one of the long-awaited original Latin American series from Star+. Filmed in Buenos Aires and Madrid with talent from both countries, the fiction is created by Gastón Duprat and Mariano Cohn, and produced by Pampa Films / Gloriamundi Producciones.
The other Spanish-speaking series featured in the program is the Spanish Paraíso, by Movistar+, which will be part of the Cannes Rendez-Vous section.
