At an event attended by local authorities and executives from the sports industry, Sports Summit launched its 2025 edition in Madrid, which will take place on June 18 and 19 at IFEMA, in the Spanish capital, coinciding with MADCUP.

MADCUP also presented the economic impact report for MADCUP FOOTBALL 2024, which reached 60.2 million euros in the Community of Madrid. The tournament featured 809 teams – 210 of them coming from outside Spain and representing 34 other countries – and attracted more than 15,000 players, family members, technical staff and fans. MADCUP stated that all these numbers have underlined the value of sport as an economic driver.
