Antena 3 premiered its new reality show El contenedor, the Spanish version of Danish format Stripped. And audiences joined in.
According to the Atresmedia network, the broadcast reached 1.68 million viewers and 13.9% share, making it the leader of its timeslot.
In addition, with those numbers, it became the leading premiere of the summer in Spain.
The format was created in 2015 by Metronome, the producer of Endemol Shine Nordics. Since then, it’s been sold in eight international markets, including Portugal, Finland, Germany, Sweden, UK and US.
It’s distributed internationally by Endemol Shine. In Spain, it’s produced by Endemol Shine Iberia.
Considered to be the first anti-materialistc reality on TV, the show gathers participants in an empty house for 21 days, depriving them of their belongings, which are stored in a container outside.
Each day they get the chance to get one object back. However, they can’t buy anything except for food, candles or TP.
