Titles like Money Heist and Elite continue to be fan favorites in Uruguay, according to Parrot Analytics’ newest demand ranking, which also includes several productions from Argentina and Mexico.
Spanish series are dominating TV screens all across Latin America and in these quarantine days, Uruguay is no exception.
Money Heist became the most demanded digital series of the week of March 30 to April 5, with 165.016 Average Demand Expressions (ADE), topping Parrot Analytics’ new ranking.
Its fellow Spaniard, Elite, ranked sixth in the digital ranking with 56.536 ADE, while Argentina’s Go! Live Your Way, also on Netflix, took over third place with 78.358 ADE.
Second and fourth ranked Netflix series Most Beautiful Thing (82.888 ADE) and Stranger Things (76.676 ADE).
The digital list is completed by Titans on DC Universe (fifth, 67.709 ADE), Star Trek: Pikard (seventh, 53.037 ADE), The Mandalorian by Disney+ (eighth, 42.355 ADE), Anne with an E by Netflix (ninth, 36.909 ADE) and in last place Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale (35.005 ADE).
Money Heist also made its way to the general ranking, landing in fifth place.
The general list included several titles from Latin America, including Argentinean series El payaso Plim Plim in third place with 173,666 ADE; and the Mexican titles La Rosa de Guadalupe in fourth place with 169,346 ADE and El Chavo del Ocho in tenth with 124,125 ADE.
The ranking is led by The Walking Dead with 214,519 ADE, followed by Peppa Pig in second place with 173,666 ADE.
Naruto ranks sixth with 16.126 ADE, followed by Steven Universe, Grey’s Anatomy, and PAW Patrol in seventh, eighth, and ninth places, respectively.
