The group’s Head of International Distribution spoke with ttvnews at Natpe Budapest about the major new releases in their catalog for the region.
With several new productions under its belt, Electric Entertainment participated in the latest edition of Natpe Budapest to present its content to the CEE market.
“We’re introducing our new TV series here,” Sonia Mehandjiyska, Head of International Distribution at Electric Entertainment, began in a conversation with ttvnews.
“This week is especially exciting because we’re shooting the penultimate episode of the second season of The Librarians: The Next Chapter, the spin-off of The Librarians, based on the three films. We’re truly celebrating the franchise,” said the executive.
“And we’re also shooting the third season of The Arc, a science fiction series that’s on sci-fi channels almost all over the world. We’re very happy to have a third season,” she emphasized, adding, “Finally, we’re also working on the third season of Leverage: Redemption.”
“This market has always been good for us. We always have a lot of meetings with Eastern European channels, and it’s a good market to meet with people who sometimes don’t go to Mipcom or Miptv. We always do very well,” she concluded.
