The platform unveiled its upcoming lineup of new original original productions, which includes A Recipe For Murder, a new Spanish documentary about the murder of Edwin Arrieta at the hands of Daniel Sancho.
SkyShowtime today revealed a first-class selection of new and exclusive titles arriving on the streaming service this year and beyond.
And when it comes to Hispanic titles, Spanish series, A Recipe for Murder, produced by Get Me Out Productions, will be the latest addition to the platform.
The five-part series from renowned documentary filmmaker Jose Gomez chronicles the violent death of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta on a tranquil Thai island, at the hands of Daniel Sancho, a 29-year-old aspiring chef known for his YouTube videos.
The documentary joins a cohort of prior announced local titles set to premiere on SkyShowtime, which include Mamen Mayo, Schmeichel, Langer and Śleboda.
A Recipe For Murder is another production delving into the controversial case, following Max’s El caso Sancho, produced by Cuarzo Producciones, which just premiered new episodes on the platform.
The original documentary delves into the investigation of the murder of Colombian doctor Edwin Arrieta in Thailand in August 2023, committed by Daniel Sancho, son of Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho. The Thai courts have sentenced him to life imprisonment on charges of premeditated murder, concealment of the corpse and theft of other people’s documents.
