Isabelle Degeorges will be presented with her award on the evening of March 25th during the Series Mania Awards Ceremony at the Théâtre Barrière.

Having launched as a new initiative in 2021, coupled with tomorrow being International Women’s Day, Laurence Herszberg, Founder and General Director of Series Mania, today announced the recipient for its Fifth Annual Woman in Series Award. The recipient this year is Isabelle Degeorges, President of Gaumont Télévision.

This award honors a remarkable woman from the audiovisual industry to honor her vision and leadership.

Degeorges will be presented with her award on the evening of March 25th during the Series Mania Awards Ceremony at the Théâtre Barrière. In addition, on March 26th she will take part in an exclusive “In Conversation With” to be moderated by Marta Balaga of Variety.

“Isabelle’s remarkable career, which has led her to the Presidency of Gaumont Télévision, has helped to promote French original series and IP internationally. Works such as Lupin and Becoming Karl Lagerfeld, to name only two, testify to the breadth and impact of her work, which is recognized and praised by all,” commented Herszberg.

Isabelle Degeorges is a French producer known for creating compelling, internationally successful series. She produced the global Netflix hit Lupin (17×52’) starring Omar Sy and Becoming Karl Lagerfeld (6×52’) with Daniel Brühl for Disney+.

As Vice President of USPA, France’s leading guild for audiovisual producers, she plays a key role in shaping the industry’s future.

A graduate of Sorbonne University, Isabelle began her career in 2001 at Images et Compagnie (Lagardère Group). In 2011, she joined Gaumont to establish its French television division. Since 2013, as President of Gaumont Television France, she has led the production of high-quality series for major broadcasters and global platforms.

Her recent work includes Signal (Paramount+), The Deal (Arte & RTS), Pax Massilia (Netflix), The Art of Crime (France Télévisions), Totems (Prime Video), and Lords of Scam (Netflix).

She is currently producing Pax Massilia S2 (Netflix), The Art of Crime S9 (France Télévisions), and In the Shadow of the Forests (Apple TV+) with Benoît Magimel and Mélanie Laurent.
