The event welcomed over 5000 professionals from 75 countries. Next year, the Festival will take place from March 20 to 27 and the Forum from March 24 to 26, 2026.
Lille once again vibrated to the rhythm of Series Mania this year, both at the festival and at the professional Forum.
In terms of numbers, according to the organization, the event gathered over 108,000 spectators, 10,000 more than last year; and 5000 professionals, including 500 buyers, from 75 countries, a 20% increase on last year. This edition marks a major milestone for the series industry, confirming than Series Mania Forum is now the one stop shop from content creation to international distribution.
“We made a selection of works that were very open to the world, and we’re delighted that the prizes reflect these choices by rewarding, among others, an American independent series, an Israeli series, an Algerian series and an Iranian series. The two major international prizes also confirm the prominent place of Spanish series in today’s serial landscape”, commented Herszberg, founder and general manager of Séries Mania.
The teams who came to present their series were unanimously impressed and deeply moved by the exceptional welcome they received.
International stars were in attendance: Amanda Seyfried, Christina Hendricks, Charlie Brooker, Miguel Bernardeau, Edvin Ryding… They were joined by a host of French stars who drew in the crowds: Audrey Fleurot, Jonathan Cohen, Alain Chabat, Gilles Lellouche, Laurent Lafitte, Géraldine Nakache, François Hollande, Patrick Bruel, Kyan Khojandi, and more.
The Seris Mania organization already confirmed the dates for next year’s edition, which will once again take place in Lille. The Festival will take place from March 20 to 27 and the Forum from March 24 to 26, 2026.
