Spanish titles El Cid and Got Talent Spain, and the LatAm’s El payaso Plim Plim and Galinha Pintadinha stand out in Parrot Analytics’ ranking of most popular TV productions in the country.

Repeating the trend of all Latin American countries in recent months, Stranger Things was crowned the most demanded series in Uruguay, leading the Parrot Analytics rankings for the week of August 14 with 19.6 times more demand than the average series.

On the digital side, the Netflix series The Sandman (second place, 5.8x) and Cobra Kai (third, 3.4x) complete the podium.

In fourth place stands HBO Max’s Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (3.18x), with Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy in fifth (2.08x), Apple TV+’s For All Mankind in sixth (1.9x ) and She-Hulk, from Disney+, in seventh place (1.65x).

In eighth place is the only Hispanic series on the list, the Spanish fiction El Cid, from Prime Video, with 1.62 times more demand.

The digital ranking is closed by The Dropout, from Hulu (1.59x) and BoJack Horseman, from Netflix (1.57x).

On the general side, Stranger Things leads the list, followed by Better Call Saul in second place and Game of Thrones in third with 15x and 11.8x, respectively.

In fourth place is the Argentine kids’ title El Payaso Plim Plim with 11.7 times more demand, followed by My Little Pony with 9.36x, and the only other two Hispanic productions on the list: Got Talent Spain (8.3x) and Galinha Pintadinha (7.8x) in sixth and seventh place, respectively.

The general ranking is completed by Case Closed (eighth, 7.87x), The Walking Dead (ninth, 7.81x) and Unplugged (tenth, 7.7x).
