Secuoya Studios and Stellarmedia produce the eight-part series in association with SkyShowtime.
Secuoya and Stellarmedia are moving forward with the production of Matices (Shades) for SkyShowtime, which today revealed the cast and characters that will star in the original series Shades, premiering exclusively on June 5.
Shades tells the story of a prestigious and charismatic psychiatrist who gathers six of his patients at a remote winery to complete their treatment with his famous method, which has achieved an extremely high cure rate among the most complex and difficult-to-treat patients. After an unusual ceremonial tasting, an unexpected turn of events occurs with a fateful ending. After the arrival of an intuitive police lieutenant who takes over the case, the truth about the patients’ traumas is uncovered.
The main cast and characters include: Maxi Iglesias, Juana Acosta, Hovik Keuchkerian, Fariba Sheikhan, Raúl Prieto, Elsa Pataky, Eusebio Poncela, Enrique Arce, and Miriam Giovanelli.
Secuoya Studios and Stellarmedia produce the eight-episode series in association with SkyShowtime. An original idea by Javier Naya, Alex Meriweather, and Sergio Cánovas, directed and executive produced by Cánovas and María García-Castrillón.
Shades is part of SkyShowtime’s growing slate of Spanish originals, which includes true crime docu-series A Recipe for Murder, comedy-drama Mamen Mayo, and upcoming series Nails.
