Panea.tv’s app is now available for Spanish-speaking users worldwide, featuring a revenue-sharing model that allows viewers to earn money for the time they spend watching ad-supported content.

Sebastián Choy, CEO of Panea.tv, shared this with ttvnews during Content Americas, where the company seeks partnerships with content providers and showcases its unique platform.

“We have a revenue-sharing format. Every time a user watches a video with commercials, we share a percentage of the revenue. Users who don’t skip ads receive a report detailing the videos they’ve watched and the points they’ve earned,” Choy explained.

The balance page will go live at the end of February, enabling users to track their earnings. Once they reach $10, they can transfer the money to their account.

“This system was developed in Latin America, where we’re very creative but often lack the follow-through to bring ideas to life. We’ve taken that creativity and shaped it into this format. In the future, the goal is to develop an online store where users can reinvest their earnings by selling their products, engaging both Latin American and US users,” said Choy.

Choy noted that the industry has shown support regarding the reception of this new concept. “Although we launched the app last week, it’s now available globally for Spanish speakers. We are looking for short content, between five and ten minutes, to optimize the commercial format. We aim to stand out with short series, standalone episodes, documentaries, and animations,” he concluded.
