US and UK streaming aggregator ScreenHits TV is partnering with Joyn, the ProSiebenSat.1 Media and Discovery joint VOD venture in Germany, at the end of July.
The announcement today from ScreenHits TV CEO Rose Adkins Hulse and Constanze Gilles, Senior Vice President, Partnerships & Business Development, for Joyn marks the latest step in the SVOD/AVOD content curator’s rapid global rollout throughout Europe, the Indian sub-continent, Latin and North America.
ScreenHits TV’s partnership with Joyn in Germany – spearheaded by Ramy Nasser, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Partnerships – will be followed by other streaming partnerships in Europe’s largest television market and across the continent.
The Joyn agreement covers a full range of its SVOD and AVOD offerings, including popular original fare from ProSiebenSat.1 and Discovery’s vast array of content, as well as from other content providers including Comedy Central and RedBull TV.

ScreenHits TV will give users an overview of all the partners’ content at a glance on screenhitstv.com and via the app. Users will find all Joyn originals and exclusives on demand, including jerks and Doctor Who, regardless of whether they are already part of the Joyn community. The content can be accessed for free on a browser or with a technical access fee via the ScreenHits TV app, where after choosing Joyn they will automatically be taken to its app. Viewers can also stream exclusive content with access to Joyn PLUS +.
Among its other popular original on-demand offerings are the series Katakomben and Stichtag; the influencer formats #offline im Wald, Mask Off 1&2, Gewitter im Herz, Shame Game, Achtung Aaron, Slavik – Auf Staats Nacken 1 & 2 and Das Internat 1&2; Die Obert Connection and reality shows such as Claudia’s House of Love and M.O.M 1 & 2.
