On March 29, the 2021 and 100% online edition of Sanfic Industria came to an end. And now, the event organizers revealed a second date for this year: October 27 and November 5.
The news was revealed by Variety, which quotes Gabriela Sandoval, director of Sanfic Industria. This time, the event will be held in a hybrid format.
According to Sandoval, the distortions generated by the Coronavirus forced this peculiar decision to have first held the event in a 100% virtual way and, now that the situation improves in Chile, to dare to make a face-to-face date.
Next year, Sandoval explained, the idea is to resume a single annual date, in August and in parallel with the Sanfic film festival, which this year will also be 100% virtual.
The October edition of Sanfic Industria, meanwhile, will have an alliance with the Mexican horror film and TV festival Mórbido: a selection of Mórbido titles will be seen during the second week of Sanfic Industria.
It will also have the Sanfic Series and the Series Lab, which will expand to receive projects from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, as well as Chile.
