Porta dos Fundos announced the appointment of Rafael Fortes as the new Vice President of Production and Content.
The executive has more than two decades of experience in the production company O2 Filmes as its executive producer.
In addition, he worked in the field of advertising, leading campaigns both in Brazil and in the international market, with experience in production in the US, Africa, China and Europe.
In terms of content, he was responsible, among other projects, for the documentary about marathon runners made in Ethiopia, Os Experientes, for TV Globo, and for the recent documentary La curiosa historia de Ítalo Ferreira, for Redbull and Billabong.
In his new role, the executive will oversee the development of creative content for Porta dos Fundos, which produces various formats for platforms and channels such as Netflix, Comedy Central, HBO, Paramount +, Pluto TV, Amazon. Prime Video, TV Globo, Fox, Deezer and Amazon Music, among others.
“I see in Porta dos Fundos the possibility of creating and producing new forms of content, with the irreverence so typical of the group. Porta is an effervescent barn of creative minds, and I believe that my experience will help contribute to all these projects and shape that creativity,” Fortes said.
