Following the success of their cherished franchise The Jungle Book, which has captured the hearts of millions of children and families worldwide, Powerkids Entertainment is poised to elevate children’s entertainment once again and is elated to announce its collaboration with global partners to co-produce a brand-new show – Adventures of Akira & Mowgli, the highly anticipated spin-off of the The Jungle Book series.

The show is currently in fast-paced production, with a tentative completion date by the end of 2025. In anticipation of strong interest from broadcasters, Powerkids plans to initiate presales during Annecy market.

With these creative global powerhouses on board, Adventures of Akira & Mowgli is set to captivate audiences worldwide.

Already Garnering Accolades!

Even before its release, the show is making waves and earning accolades. PowerKids CEO Mr. Manoj Mishra received the Best Producer in ANN Award’24, and the series has been nominated for Best International Showcase at the prestigious Cartoon on the Bay Pulcinella Awards. The excitement is palpable, and the accolades are piling up!

Powerkids has brought on board Trevor Wall as Storyboard and Animation Director for this animated series. Trevor brings extensive experience from Disney Jr.’s Puppy Dog Pals and many more. Siddharth Vasudeva, Creative Director, will oversee the project, leveraging his acclaimed work on previous Jungle Book seasons, Peter Pan & Robinhood.

Renowned writers Jeff Sager and Eric Steinhart are crafting the scripts. They are known for their work on popular shows like PJ Masks, Super Wings, Paw Patrol, Dino Ranch, and The Snoopy Show.
