French distributor Only Distrib which specializes in Science, Green & nature, Lifestyle and Society content has picked up a raft of factual content from Portuguese broadcaster SIC.
Head of sales & acquisition Laurène Voilliot says “this is a growth of our catalog in the areas of food, travel, discovery and investigation for which the appetite is strong globally and we’re happy to add these tiles to our offer ”.
Titles include the series Left To Their Own (5×26’), which investigates the disappearance of kids in the 80es in the Azores. Almost 40 years later, some of those kids talk about what happened to them and how they were sold to American couples who worked at the Lajes base at the time.
Also the travel series World In Sight (8×26’ & 17×10’) which takes us all over the world to discover places, the people who live there and their traditions. The series is completed by Portugal In Sight (4×45’) which travels through the country and its strong history.
