Mr. Figueras will be responsible for leading the company’s distribution efforts across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Olympusat, LLC today announced the appointment of Javier Figueras as Senior Vice President of International Distribution. In this role, Figueras will be responsible for leading the company’s distribution efforts across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Figueras brings over 30 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry to Olympusat. Prior to joining the company, he served as Corporate Vice President of Affiliate Sales for HBO Latin America Group, where he was responsible for all the company’s distribution operations for more than 12 countries and territories across Latin America and the Caribbean.

In his new role at Olympusat, Figueras will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the company’s revenues generated through distribution of PayTV services, Broadcast Channels, OTT platforms, FAST Channels, and content licensing across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. He will also oversee the company’s relationships with its affiliates and distributors and ensure maximum monetization of revenue-sharing agreements. He will additionally assure relationships are mutually beneficial and aligned with the company’s strategic goals, develop strategic partnerships and commercial strategy as well as negotiate promotion of company services with cable operators and connected devices.
