The platform’s Chief Marketing Officer spoke to ttvnews at Content Americas about its business model, based on collecting the largest amount of content from Latin America for international monetization.

With an innovative model for the audiovisual industry, Addicta TV was present at Content America to introduce itself to the international market as an invaluable option for independent producers.

“Addicta TV is an American platform focused on monetizing all Latin American content, from Mexico to Argentina, especially those that are not generating monetization; the content that is obsolete, stored away, that is the content we want,” began in a conversation with ttvnews Nicolás Rodriguez, Chief Marketing Officer of Addicta TV.

“We want to become an option for independent producers to achieve monetization,” he added.

The platform started 2024 “very positively”, with more than 100 hours uploaded from Argentina, Peru, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. “And the goal is to reach almost 1000 hours, from Mexico to Argentina, covering all of Latam,” explained the executive.

“Addicta was born with the need to monetize. We managed to capture that in the participation pie, Latin American content is having a lot of advertising impact in international markets,” he added. “And there we decided to build all this technological expertise to be able to bring this Latin American content to international audiences. Our model is not exclusive, we are interested in having as much Latin content as possible.”

In this sense, the executive explained that they are looking for “any type of content”, from feature films to series, documentaries, even podcasts and music video content. “We want Addicta to have all the Latin American essence for the global market.”

“By 2025, we have a super aggressive plan to be at all Latam events. We have participation in digital networks and a partnership with Google so that everyone can find out about our goal. We want to generate a great content offering for the global industry,” he concluded.
