Netflix carried out its virtual festival Tudum Ao Vivo in Brazil, under the leadership of Maisa. In addition to entertaining with performances and interviews, the platform revealed news of its upcoming local original productions.

Among them is Temporada de Verão, a new fiction series.

The series, with no release date yet, stars Giovanna Lancellotti and Chilean actor Jorge López, famous for his role as Valerio on the Netflix teen series, Elite.

Without revealing too many details, the platform said Temporada de Verão takes place in a hotel on a paradise island, where the characters work during an unforgettable summer.

In addition, the platform announced the quintet that will star in the Brazilian version of the reality show Queer Eye, which will arrive in 2021.

Popular artist Anitta was invited to the festival to present her new Netflix project, Anitta: Made in Honório. The documentary series will premiere on December 16, and will follow her hectic professional routine through an intimate look.

Rap and hip hop singer Emicida also presented exclusive images from AmarElo – É Tudo Pra Ontem, her documentary that will debut on December 8 on Netflix.

Finally, the writer and author Thalita Rebouças showed the first images of Pai em Dobro, a film written by her and starring Maisa, along with Eduardo Moscovis, Marcelo Médici and Laila Zaid.

In turn, Rebouças spoke about the production of a feature film inspired by her best-seller Confiss Krzyes de Uma Garota Excluída, Mal-Amada e (Um Pouco) Dramática, which will feature Klara Castanho, Julia Gomes, Kiria Malheiros and Fernanda Concon.
