BBC Studios and SkyShowtime will deliver keynote speeches. Izzet Pinto will discuss marketing in the entertainment industry, and Keshet International and TV NOVA/Voyo will present the hit crime film Extractors.
NEM Dubrovnik 2024 announced the first details of the program they have planned for the 2024 edition, which will be held at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel from June 10-13. The eleventh edition of the Central and Eastern European TV market will once again bring together the leading figures in the TV industry, from major buyers to CEOs, CTOs, VPs, MDs, CEOs, general managers, and numerous other influential attendees.
Several keynote sessions will form the central part of the event with acclaimed keynote speakers such as Bartosz Witak, General Manager CEE Region, BBC Studios, who said he was delighted to be attending NEM Dubrovnik again, “Having the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with key market leaders and foster strategic partnerships across the region is invaluable as we work to achieve dynamic growth in this market. BBC Studio’s commitment to business development in Central and Eastern Europe has always been strong. Still, now, more than ever, we see a favorable environment to strengthen our operations in this region,” he said.
For his part, Monty Sarhan, CEO of SkyShowtime, mentioned that NEM Dubrovnik is an incredibly important television market. “It is an honor to intervene there for the second year. I have just launched our advertising plan in all our markets, including Central and Eastern Europe. I am looking forward to joining other industry members in an interesting discussion,” Sarhan added.
While the full program for the four-day event is still under development, the organizers of NEM Dubrovnik 2024 have hinted at some of the most interesting aspects that have already been confirmed.
Izzet Pinto, founder and CEO of Global Agency, will share a special presentation with insight into marketing in the entertainment industry. In his 360-degree marketing presentation, the executive will comprehensively address the brand’s marketing strategy and explain, through a case study, how the company conducts its activities with creative methods.
Lenka Szántó, creative producer at TV NOVA/Voyo, and Anke Stoll, senior vice president of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at Keshet International, will present the crime thriller series Extractors, produced by Movie SRO/TV NOVA and distributed by Keshet International.
Ákos Erdős, CEO of Paprika Studios Group, will be interviewed during a Q&A session.
