The platform specializes in reality shows.
NBCUniversal announced on Thursday the launch of its OTT platform Hayu in Spain and 10 additional European territories including Portugal, France and Italy.
Initially launched in 2016, the SVOD platform offers a catalog of content specialized in reality shows, which is broadcast simultaneously with the US.
In Spain and the new European territories, it will be marketed at 4.99 euros per month, with a seven-day free trial.
In addition to the countries mentioned, it will reach Switzerland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
It was already available in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Canada, Benelux, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore. In Germany and Austria, it was also launched by Amazon Prime Video Channels.
Thus, in total, the platform is already present in 27 territories.
Hayu offers a library of up to 8,000 reality TV episodes, including classics like Keeping Up With the Kardashians and all of its spin-offs, The Real Housewives, Below Deck, and Million Dollar Listing, among others.
