Natpe Budapest, the global television marketplace focused on Central and Eastern Europe and EMEA regions, announced the keynote speakers and schedule for the event, which will take place June 24-27 at the InterContinental Budapest Hotel.
Event organizers have confirmed more than 300 buyers representing nearly 60 countries and 100 exhibitors. Speakers will lead discussions on the latest trends shaping the future of television and content consumption and offer new networking opportunities at this year’s event.
In addition, Antenna Studios (part of the Antenna Group), Sony Pictures Television, and ZDF Studios are confirmed to host screenings.

New this year, NATPE Budapest’s sister brand Realscreen, the leading authority on global nonfiction and unscripted entertainment through a daily newsletter and magazine, has scheduled a special section at the event dedicated to the genre.
The team behind the Realscreen Summit, the world’s largest marketplace and conference, will offer roundtable discussions and networking sessions highlighting opportunities for producers of non-scripted programs in Central and Eastern Europe and beyond, including case studies of major formats currently touring the world and valuable insights into the programming needs of key buyers.

This format pitch competition continues NATPE Budapest’s long tradition of celebrating new format concepts from the CEE region with the greatest international potential. Previous winners have successfully financed, produced, and sold their programs worldwide. The deadline for submissions is May 24.
