Nadav Palti, CEO and President of Dori Media Group, shared exciting updates with ttvnews about the company’s latest projects and global ambitions in the entertainment industry. For Latin America, Dori Media is exploring the creation of a regional hub aimed at reducing production costs and facilitating the adaptation of its formats in more countries.

Currently, Power Couple is already present in Brazil and Mexico, with negotiations underway in other interested markets. Palti expressed confidence that the hub could be established this year, enabling the format to expand its reach across the region.

“Power Couple is truly set to be one of the top five or ten reality prime-time shows in the world. We’re already in more than 20 countries, with about 10 or 11 seasons, and it’s present in many places. Today, in fact, just a few hours ago, we announced seven seasons in Brazil. Additionally, many other countries are now in the negotiation process, and hopefully, we’ll soon announce more major countries adopting the format and producing a season or more,” Palti said.

Simultaneously, RTL Plus, the streaming platform for RTL, will air a new version called Summer House of the Normalis, focusing on everyday people.

The launch of Soul Sucker at MIP London

Another significant project by Dori Media is Soul Sucker, a horror-comedy set to debut in London during MIP London. The series consists of eight high-quality episodes and features acclaimed actress Bat Hen Sabag, who also starred in Dumb, a hit on Warner Brothers platforms across Latin America and other international markets.

Palti explained the company’s plans for MIP London, where they will have a booth and a delegation of five or six people, potentially more.

“One of the highlights for us will be the screening of the new drama series, Soul Sucker. We rented a large theater in London, and we’re expecting a great turnout. After the screening, we’ll hold a Q&A session, bringing the creators, actors, and directors to the theater to engage with the audience.”

Soul Sucker delves into the complex relationship between three generations of women—a grandmother, mother, and daughter—who are cursed. The story combines elements of drama and horror, and the production is described as one of the company’s most ambitious to date.

The journey of AMIA

Among Dori Media’s standout projects is the series AMIA. Inspired by the tragic bombings in Argentina in 1992 and 1994, the series addresses political and social themes through a blend of action and drama.

Palti noted that the project seeks to shed light on a topic that remains controversial and unresolved. The series will premiere on February 6 on Reshet, Israel’s Channel 13, preceded by a launch event two days earlier, attended by the Argentine ambassador to Israel.

Palti highlighted the support from Argentina’s new government and expressed hope that the production will also reach international platforms, including a potential launch in Argentina with a major event at the AMIA building.
“We want to invite Jewish communities, the media, and perhaps even the Argentine president. It would be an honor to have his support and blessing,” he said.

Through these initiatives, Dori Media reaffirms its commitment to creating high-quality content that resonates globally, while continuing to explore new opportunities for collaboration and expansion in key markets.
