The Spanish series is the most watched content worldwide on the OTT platform during the last week.
Just three days were enough for Spanish series Money Heist to become the most watched content on Netflix during the last week (from November 29 to December 5) according to the ranking that the OTT platform itself publishes now on a weekly basis.
With the premiere of its last season on Friday, December 3, Money Heist achieved a global consumption of 189,920,000 hours, a figure that allowed it to top the ranking of the most viewed non-English-speaking television content.
And when comparing such consumption to that of English-speaking content and both English-speaking and non-English-speaking films, Money Heist continues to lead.
What’s more: it triples the consumption of the second most viewed content in the world, the Colombian La Reina del Flow, with 59,460,000.
For reference, the most watched English-language series was Lost in Space 2 with 47,380,000.
According to Netflix statistics, Money Heist made it into the Top 10 in 92 countries around the world, including markets such as the US, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom or even Australia.
The queen of flow, meanwhile, was not far behind either: her second season was Top 10 in 31 countries and her first in 26.
