The Spanish Netflix series took first place in Parrot Analytics’ weekly ranking of the most demanded digital series in the country; good news for the platform which this time took only two spots in the top 10.
Unstoppable in its international success, La casa de papel (Money Heist) continues to break records and climb to the top of the popularity rankings in dozens of markets worldwide.
And Argentina is no exception, where the Spanish Netflix series ranked first in Parrot Analytics’ weekly ranking of the most demanded digital series in the country, registering 15.8 times more demand than the average series in the week from 5 to 11 from December.
The series is, along with Cobra Kai (9.76x, seventh place) one of only two Netflix titles in the top 10 in Argentina, where the rest of the digital list is divided between the other platforms.
Thus, Disney+ dominates the list with three titles, with Hawkeye in second place (13.1x), WandaVision in fourth (10.9x) and The Mandalorian in fifth (10.7x).
Amazon Prime Video follows with two titles: The Wheel of Time in third place (11.9x) and Maradona: Blessed Dream in eighth (9.47x).
HBO Max, Hulu and Apple TV+ complete the ranking with one title each: Titans (HBO Max) in sixth place with 9.8 times more demand, The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu) in ninth with 9.3 times more demand and last, Foundation (Apple TV+) in tenth place with 8.7 times more demand.
The general ranking of series most in demand in Argentina is led by The Simpsons with 20.3 times more demand, followed by The Walking Dead (16.9x) and again La casa de papel closing the podium.
In fourth and fifth place are the Argentine productions El Payaso Plim Plim (14.32x) and Showmatch (14.3x), respectively, followed by Succession (13.4x) in sixth place, Grey’s Anatomy (13.3x) in seventh and Hawkeye in eighth.
The animated series South Park (12.9x) closed the general ranking in ninth place and Naruto (12.7x) in tenth place.
