The premiere of its fifth and final season on Netflix catapulted the Spanish series to the first place in TV Time’s Binge Report, making it the most binged series worldwide in the last week.
One of the most anticipated releases of the year, not only in Spain but internationally, the fifth season of Money Heist quickly became the best OTT premiere so far this month.
The series, which premiered the first part of its last season on Friday, September 3 on Netflix, became the most binge-watched series in the world in the last week, leading TV Time’s Binge Report ranking.
It is also the only Hispanic series on the list.
New Netflix series such as Good Girls, Clickbait and Outer Banks also appear on the list, along with classic and always popular series such as One Piece, Modern Family, Grey’s Anatomy, The Office or The Good Doctor.
Leader of the Binge Report, it is not surprising that Money Heist has a place at the top of TV Time’s Shows on the Rise ranking for the same week, which measures the series that grew the most in terms of viewing.
Thus, the Spanish series is placed in second place, surpassed only by the Hulu drama, Only Murders in the Building.
Netflix’s Good Girls closes the podium, followed by What We Do in the Shadows (FX), The Marseillais vs the Rest of the World (W9), Marvel Studios: Legends (Disney+), Chicago Med (NBC), Nevertheless (jtbc), See (Apple TV+) and ClickBait (Netflix).
